“So Heavy” is the second single from the Hannah Weiss Group’s debut album "Terra". It’s about oppression, injustice and the question of one's own actions. We live in a world that, due to its complexity, often causes a feeling of powerlessness. The feeling of being unable to act: One sees but does not understand what one sees, one wants to act but does not know one's means. One searches for one's own place and stagnates in the face of (sur-)reality, to the point of dissolving the boundaries between self and things, to the point of merging the body with the seemingly non-active environment.
 
 
“So Heavy” ist die zweite Single des Debütalbums der Hannah Weiss Group. Darin geht es um Unterdrückung, um Ungerechtigkeit und um die Frage nach dem eigenen Handeln. Wir leben in einer Welt, die durch ihre Komplexität nicht selten das Gefühl der Ohnmacht hervorruft. Das Gefühl der Handlungsunfähigkeit: Man sieht aber versteht nicht was man sieht, man will handeln aber kennt seine Mittel nicht. Man sucht nach dem eigenen Platz und stagniert im Angesicht der (Sur-)realität, bis hin zur Auflösung der Grenzen vom Selbst zu den Dingen, bis zur Verschmelzung des Körpers mit der scheinbar nicht- agierenden Umgebung.
